What is Starlink?
Starlink is a Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellite constellation. Providing high speed internet in a fashion like no other, with speeds typically ranging from 100 to 500 megabits per second.
We think this is a game changer for rural and remote communities that have otherwise been forgotten. Although not affiliated with Space X and Starlink officially, we provide professional installations with high grade masts and WiFi equipment.
Considering Starlink is a basic formula, the first question you should ask is; what is currently available in my area. If high speed internet isn’t available then Starlink is a consideration.
A clear horizon is the next question to ask yourself, this is the number one dictator of the Starlink install location. Trees, buildings and silos will all cause dropouts and unreliable service.

Starlink Install considerations
Location
Location of the Starlink Install is crucial to quality of service.
Obstruction from the horizon will limit the quality of connection and increase dropouts. Placement of your Starlink install is critical.
Roof Mount
We have access to a large supply of mounts and poles. Often the best placement for the dish is on a roof or facia mount pole. All of our poles and mounts are Australian made and of high grade construction.
Wi-Fi Coverage
This is critical to the outcomes you desire. Without a good router or access point your Starlink experience can be lacking. Speak to us about your WiFi needs or extending it to another building
Common Questions
How long until Starlink is available?:
Starlink installs are available through most of Australia, check here to see. The satellite constellation is set to reach to 40,000 (this has changed many times) with a launch completion date by 2027.
Are there installers for Starlink?:
Yes, there are many installers. Our network of licenced professional installers covers most of Australia.
Can you install Starlink on your roof?
Starlink Installs are best installed on a roof free of obstruction. That being said it’s best to use licenced professionals to do this given the dangerous nature of the work, water proofing requirements and network optimisation.
How does Starlink get installed?
A typical Starlink Install will involve a site inspection for best location, externally and internally for the router or Access Point. The most efficient Australian engineered mast will be selected and mounted along with a roof penetration (if needed).
From there the cable will be fed to the the internal router and a speed test will be conducted and shared with the owner.
What speeds does Starlink offer?
Starlink says download speeds should range between 100Mbps and 500Mbps, with a latency of 20ms to 40ms.
